This 3 days 2 nights tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, starts at 08: 00 am, your driver guide, will pick you up from your accommodation or wherever you are in Marrakech and driver from Marrakech to Dades Gorges through high Atlas mountains ” Tizi- N-Tichka ” (2260m) higher, a long the way, we will make stops to visit and take photos for a beautiful landscapes with different colors and the Berber villages… At noon we reach the old Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, you will have free time to visit the Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987[1] and where several films were shot…
After the visit and lunch, we continue to the Dades Valley, stopping in Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Then we continue southeast to the green Dades Valley and the City of Roses via the fascinating Skoura Palm, arriving in the Dades Valley in the evening.
After breakfast and shower, we will start our journey to Merzouga Sahara desert, before we go, we will visit Dades Gorges and will be a good opportunity to see a nice pictures and beautiful view…. we will continue towards Tinghir ” Todra Gorges ” there you will have a free time to walk around and then we will go to the city of Tinjdad where we will stop for lunch, after lunch we will go to Merzouga desert where the camel trekking tours will start from, we will pass through Erfoud the capital Moroccan city of fossil, we will arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon at 16: Before we leave for the desert, the camels will be loaded with water, food, blankets and everything else we need for the trip. Each participant has his own camel, you will ride 1h 30 on the camels in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. When you arrive at the camp “Berber Nomad Tents” you will leave your luggage in the tent and then you can walk in the dunes to watch the beautiful sunset and try a sandboard in the sand dunes!
After watching the sunset, go back to the camp, you will invite with a cup of tea that we called (Moroccan Berber whiskey)! then you will have your meal at the camp ” delicious Moroccan Berber Tagine “, After dinner, the party will start. Listen to the Berber nomad musicians playing traditional music with drums and dance around the campfire. After the party you will have the opportunity to watch the magical starry sky and take beautiful photos. Dinner and overnight in nomad camp.
Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise from the dunes. After breakfast and shower, you will return to the hotel with the camels and ride through the huge palm grove of Tafilalet via Rissani and the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate.
